unsettled...

I look back and think "oh yes, it was 9/11..."

Working backward 36 hours from now--I had a huge nights exhausted sleep after having a bad head cold all day yesterday, where I got only a few things done, grateful for a half day's amount of work with a dripping nose, sneezes and all that.  I had awakened Thursday from a horrible dream while this big wind and rain storm was blowing outside.  In the dream people and animals were all reacting to some terrible respiratory plague, coughing, sneezing, getting sick...except atms and electronics and everything were affected too.  It was not a disease, but fine abrasive particles in the air, like if you play with pink housing insulation--scratching and burning.

Of course, looking back, I remember that that is exactly what was falling from the sky in NYC in the aftermath of the bombings.  A terrible dust all over NY, burning throats and making people sick...

I feel great today, but what a spooky reminder yesterday....

Your dream was just a little spooky; the memory is always there, even when we are not conscious of it.

There are a couple of days every year that I try really, really hard not to think about. Yesterday was one of those days. Hope you're feeling better!

Oh Gary! You gotta wake up from that dream still scared. :-(

It was a hard day yesterday, wasn't it?

Have a great weekend. I think the best thing to do is savor every moment, right? Bake something yummy and take lots of photos!
